This program came highly recommended and I’m very pleased for having taken part. The Professional Bartender instruction was excellent, the amount of practice was more than adequate and the cost extremely fair, especially with the easy payment options. I have been offered three jobs in the Jamestown and Warren areas since I recently completed my training.

Took this course my senior year in high school with the intention to bartend as soon as I graduated. This program has given me the skills and the knowledge that I needed to work at the country club in our community and as a representative at a local wine & spirits shop. Wines, Steins and Cocktails provided me with an excellent hands-on training experience that not only taught me how to mix drinks, but how to select and manage the inventory, how to bartend for all kinds of social functions, and how to run my own bartender service. What really impressed my employers was my ability to interview and to relate to them as to how what I had learned would fit into the needs of their establishment. All of this was covered in the job and interviewing workshop that accompanied my program. So, even at 18 years of age, I was prepared to make a good enough impression to get hired. I’m presently looking to relocate and get a position aboard a cruise ship. Thanks to the WSC staff that made this possible.

What an outstanding program. You name it and believe that we discussed and practiced the concept. The instructors made the learning process easy, because they were fun and enthusiastic about your success and excelling on the job. I landed a job as a bartender at the Italian Fisherman at Bemus Point. We make a wide variety of classic cocktails and Tiki style drinks, all of which we practiced extensively in class. Thank-you for the great time and job skills.

Your class covered everything from A to Z. Hands-on is the only way to go. The amount of mixing practice on high-end drink-making was incredible, all of which I’ve put to good use working at the Eden Resort & Conference Center. Recouped the entire cost of my tuition after working only one weekend at the Resort.
❖ T. DeMarco – Lancaster, PA
The quality of this program was superb. The explanations of procedures, bar mechanics, and flair were very effective and easy to remember. Fantastic teachers, both good listeners and excellent facilitators. I especially liked all the repetition, we must have practiced those drink recipes a thousand times. Had no problem performing at the top of my game with confidence on my very first job. Many thanks for your time and insight into the Professional Mixology Trade.
❖ J. Dickerson – York, PA
This course taught me everything I needed to mix drinks professionally and how to get the job which I did. I’m working at the Lancaster Host Resort & Conference Center just after completing my training in this profession. The cocktails are classic and poured from the premium well. I also serve craft-beer, wine, single malt, cognac, and aperitifs. In all, I was schooled by some of the very best skilled in the industry and it showed immediately on the job. I’ve received many complements on my drink-making and my service. Appreciate all the attention during and after the sessions to make all of this possible.
❖ P. Krystian – Mountville, PA
Landed a job at Prudhommes upon completing my course in Professional Mixology. Really satisfied with the quality and the quantity of hands-on practice and training materials that can be used for reference or on the job. The instructors were friendly, patient and very knowledgeable in their field. They were glad to answer any and all questions that were asked of them. The move from the program to the job was an easy process. I was well prepared. Thanks for a great learning experience.
❖ M. Wichart – Lancaster, PA
I was blown away at the very first class, and each session got better. My instructors kept my attention the whole time. It was a fun time throughout. We mixed virtually the entire time, all the while being coached on our showmanship and our ability to adapt to all types of bar situations. I’ve been out and around town while I was taking my instruction, and I can say without a doubt, I’m mechanically ready to go and jump right in. I might add that I thought I knew a lot about jobsearch and interviewing, but again I was pleasantly surprised. The employment work-shop done in conjunction with the bartender school really enlightened me as to all the possibilities that are available in the way of jobs and the smartest ways of securing a satisfying position. I can’t say enough about this course. I truly recommend it to anyone who has an interest in bettering themselves in more ways than just learning to mix drinks. Thanks and keep up the great work.
